Private Classes, Group Classes and In-Person Classes.
Terms and Conditions
Private Classes and Group Classes / Online and in-person.
By signing up to any class, online or in person, all terms and conditions are automatically accepted by the student.
1.Payment.
1.1 Group Classes, Private Classes and In-Person Classes must be paid in full at least 24hrs before the start of each class. Classes booked later than this time are not confirmed and is at the discretion of School of Hoop.
1.2 Payment can only be made by the Schoolofhoop.com website. Payments made directly via PayPal or banktransfer will not be accepted as a booking.
2.Refunds
2.1 All payments for Group Classes, Private Classes and In-Person Classes are final. School of Hoop operates a zero refund policy.
2.2 Refunds are at the discretion of School of Hoop only and are by no means guaranteed.
2.3 Refunds are only given should classes be cancelled by School of Hoop, however School of Hoop will always offer a replacement class first.
2.4 Refunds will be subject to App fee’s. The amount received by School of Hoop will be the amount refunded.
3.Recording
3.1 Students may request an Online recorded class during the payment option on the School of Hoop website.
3.2 Request for recording online class after this stage will be ignored.
3.3 Recordings may not be distributed at any point. All videos, recordings, screen shots, images remain the property of School of Hoop only.
3.4 A £1,000.00 fine will occur should a student at any point share or distribute any class recording, in full or in part.
4.Class Times
4.1 Online Private Class will start at the time stated. In the event of Lateness, School of Hoop will end the class after 10 minutes should a student be a no-show.
4.2 It is to the discretion of School of Hoop to re-arrange an Online Class.
4.3 A £10 admin fee will occur if Student requests a class change. Until this Admin Fee has been paid, the re-scheduled class is not confirmed.
5.Class Rules.
5.1 All Students must be 16 or Over.
5.2 Online Students may train alone but must provide an emergency contact at the beginning of each class.
5.3 Online Students may be muted due to busy locations, however School of Hoop does prefer Online Students to be un-muted.
5.4 Students must do a self 15 minute warm up before each class.
intensive Courses
Terms and Conditions
4 Week / 6 Week / 8 Week Intensive Courses, Conventions.
By paying a deposit or payment in Full, Student accepts all terms and Conditions.
1.Payment.
1.1 A minimum of £250.00 deposit must be made in order to secure placement on Intensive Courses.
1.2 Payment can only be made by the School of Hoop website. Payments made directly via PayPal or bank transfer will not be accepted as a booking, unless specified or agreed by Ben Brown, Founder and Course Director of School of Hoop.
2.Refunds

2.1 Intensive Courses deposit and or full payment is non-refundable.
2.2 Refunds are at the discretion of School of Hoop only and are by no means guaranteed.
2.3 Refunds are only given should classes be cancelled by School of Hoop, however School of Hoop will always offer a replacement class first.
2.4 Refunds will be subject to App fee’s. The amount received by School of Hoop will be the amount refunded. ​
3.Cancellation Policy
​
3.1 Course Cancellation by School of Hoop will result in an automatic refund to student. Refunds must be made the same way the student had originally paid.
3.2 School of Hoop reserves the right to cancel any course at any time.
3.3 In the unlikely event of a course cancellation, any accommodation, flights travel or otherwise will not be compensated.
3.4 Students may change their place on an existing course to a future course once. A £50 admin fee will occur, as well as any extra course payments. For example. Original course price £1200.00, students wishes to change course which is £1400.00, student will owe £200 plus a £50 admin fee totalling £250.00. Once payment is complete students placement will be moved to the next course.
3.5 If a student has already moved their course date once, unless they can attend the next course, all monies paid will be lost.
3.5 Students may also sell their place to another student should they not be able to attend.

4.Recording
​
4.1 Recording of Ben Brown or any other guest teacher. Any footage of Ben Brown and or Guest Teachers will be asked to be deleted permanently. Failure to do so may result in student being asked to leave the course.
4.2 Student agrees to being filmed and or photographed during the time of the course, and gives consent for images and or videos to be shared on social media and School of Hoop website.
4.3 All videos, recordings, screen shots, images remain the property of School of Hoop only.
4.4 Students may record themselves.
4.5 Students must ask permission of other students before filming others.
5.Class Rules.

5.1 Student must be 16 or Over. Students aged 16 and 17 must have a signed parental agreement form.
5.2 Warm up is compulsory, any student who has not warmed up will be asked to sit out until warm up is complete.
5.3 Students agree to keep the studio space clean and tidy, before and after class.
5.4 Student agrees to abide by all host studio rules.
5.5 Students may not participate in class until a Next of Kin form is complete. After the course has ended, forms will be returned to each student.
6.Sickness/Injury
​
6.1 Should student become sick with cold/flu like symptoms during the course, they will stay home until sickness has gone to avoid passing on to other students.
6.2 Students will be open and honest about previous / ongoing injuries with School of Hoop and all teachers on the course.
6.3 In the event of Injury during a class, first aid will be provided if needed. Further treatment, physiotherapy or rehabilitation will be the responsibility of the student.
7.Course Photography
​
Some courses have a photoshoot during the course and these conditions apply.
7.1 Students are given 3 free images by School of Hoop after the Photoshoot.
7.2 School of Hoop retains the right to choose one of the free photos. This photo chosen by School of Hoop will also be used for it’s own use.
7.3 Should students want more images, they must contact the photographer to arrange and pay the photographers fees.
7.4 Students will be given a time frame to use to capture images. If students is late or does not show, the session will not be pushed back to make up time or be re-arrange. The time given is final.
7.5 Any time a student wishes to use their image in part or in full on instagram, they must tag @benbrowncirque and @school_of_hoop as well as the photographer.
7.6 Any additional editing, touch ups etc must be paid by the student.
7.7 Raw unedited photographs will not be given to the student. This is to protect the photographers brand image.
7.8 Students may request specific edit details once they have received their photos back, however if a student wishes to edit again after edits have been made, this is by the discretion of the photographer and subject to their fees payable by the student.
